I decided to do this because I was hungry when I was working on this and I remembered that Travis told me to look up this show. Cookin' With Coolio #2: Coolio Fork Steak is the episode that I choose because I like steak and this recipe looks good.

Angeles and Demons
This book is one of my personal favorite. A best selling Novel by Dan Brown never fails to disappoint. One of the most interesting and exciting. The main Character is again Robert Langdon The Symbols expert. Dan Brown Also wrote the Controversial Da Vinci Code. I enjoyed this book much more than the Da Vinci Code This one was better written. I don't want to give any of the plot away but it is very very very interesting plot, one of my favorites. They are making it into a movie presently it is a must read for everyone.

The Godfather
The Godfather Gained international recognition as a movie when Francis Ford Coppola Directed it into history. Many don't know though that the Godfather in fact first was a book written by Mario Puzo. The book is a true masterpiece. It has the same story line as the movie but it goes beyond the movie and explores many other things. It is a gritty complex thriller and on of my favorite Books.

Heroes in a Box: Hollywood Heroes
When confronted with this exercise I had trouble Deciding what topic to research. So I aimlessly went to yahoo and saw on their headline had a Hollywood star on it. I then decided to do my topic on Hollywood Heroes. The first thing I did was google search this topic. And the first things that came up were Hollywood war heroes. Through all my searching I found that that was consistently coming up in all my searches. So I designated that as my first category. So I decided to further study this topics.
War Heroes of Hollywood
"In contrast to the ideals, opinions and feelings of today's "Hollywood" the real actors of yesterday loved the United States. They had both class and integrity. With the advent of World War many of our actors went to fight rather than stand and rant against this country we all love. They gave up their wealth, position and fame to become service men & women, many as simple enlisted men". Joey the Paesano.
"With the founding of the Hollywood Anti-Nazi League in 1936, the Hollywood community politicized itself in advance of the government, a stance strengthened by the nearly complete elimination of the German market for its films." Amanda Howell
This is a video about Hollywood war heroes.

Alec Guinness was in the British Navy

David Niven was Colonel of the British Commandos.
Jimmy Stewart American Air force.
Conclusion
I have found that the main categories of Hollywood Heroes are War Heroes . Many Hollywood stars served there country proudly most notably Jimmy Stewart. It was important propaganda that they served their country and it helped influence many young men to sign up. It essentially got the American war machine going.

The Hoods
The Hoods written by Harry Grey was adapted into a movie directed by Sergio Leone called Once Upon a Time in America. It stared Robert De Niro and James Woods. It was The Great director Sergio Leone last film before his death many conciser it his greatest work. originally over five hours long it was edited down to almost four hours long and than for American releases to an under two hour movie which was horrible. I would recommend the four hour movie it was a masterpiece, a beautiful film it was and I would highly recommend it.

The Silcilian
The Sicilian is a wonderful book written by the same author who wrote the Godfather, Mario Puzo. It has many similarities as the Godfather so that made it a very good book. The book was made into a movie. It was directed by Micheal Cimino who also directed the Deer Hunter which I believe was one of the best and most beautiful films ever made. I enjoy movies like that because the spend time on Character development. The Sicilian had some notable stars including Terrence Stamp who this summer was in Wanted and Get Smart, and Coen Brother favorite John Turturro.

Harry Potter
Harry Potter was one of the most successful children series in the history of history of history of books. It was without a doubt one of the greatest series I have ever read but it was not the best. I would put it as second or third on my list. I believe that all the Harry Potter Fenelia is BS. All this speculation about the Harry Potter universe I belive that if it was not written don't worry about it. I think maybe I should write a random book to just prove people wrong about that stuff.

Crime and Punishment
Crime and Punishment the Russian Fyodor Dostoevsky was published in 1886. Crime and Punishment is a comlpex story about a man who has a theory about so called "extrodinairy person" like Napoloan. He decides to kill a old women to see if is really a person who can kill for a higher purpose. The book the follows him and his concience as he rides the emotional roller- coster as he struggles with his concience after he killed that women. This is a beautifly written piece of work though the translated russsian can be hard to understand at times. I believe that you should read it though.

Matarese Circle
Yesterday I started reading theMatarese Circle by Robert Ludlum. I bought this book at a used book sale by my cabin in Webster Wisconsin and another costomer saw that I was going to by the book and he said that it was his favorite Robert Ludlum book and that is saying a lot considering that Ludlum also wrote the Jason Bourne Trilogy. So I stared reading that book as I was Driving down to my Aunts Orchard. The Orchard was fun because I had a million apples and Apple Pie. But Today was bad because I brought home one piece of apple for my self, 1 piece and specifically told them not to eat my pie. but they still ate it so now I am mad because I really like my pie. The rights to the book have just been sold to MGM and Denzel Washington has signed on to star.

Brisinger
On September 20th the day Brisinger came out I was very excited. I went with a Friend to the midnight opening just to get the book. I was very impressed with the first two books in the Triligoy and I was excited to read the "last book". But the the announcement came in the spring that in fact the decided to split the final book into two but I was not really discouraged but I should of been. This book was a major let down. It was entirely a bridge book between the second and the fourth book. There were things added into the plot in this book that you could Tell were just to sell the book. But it did not fool me. None of the hard questions were answered no one important died and more importantly it was very predictable. If you already read the first two books in the series you can read this one but if you haven't don't waste your time.

Animal Dreams "A sad example of American Liturature"
I'll start with a quote, "Libraries are the one American institution you shouldn't rip off''. This is my favorite quote of the book so far because the book deserves no good press and this is irreverent to the book.
My favorite character from the book is Hallie because she dead.
The most important scene from the book so far is when they find out Hallie gets kidnapped because it is the first interesting thing that has happened in the book to date.

The Matlock Paper
A very captivate piece of literature I recently read is the Matlock Paper. It is about a college professor who gets caught in the middle in a drug smuggling ring. A interesting piece because it was written in the early 1970's. My favorite Robert Ludlum piece to date he also wrote the Jason Bourne Trilogy. A must read.
